Tatiana Carnevale
as Syndey Fredrickson

Syndey Fredrickson is 100% going to be a Broadway STAR!! She began dance training at a young age as a way to channel her energy, and soon progressed to singing and acting as well. However, she has several other hobbies aside from performing, which include running, jumping, driving really fast, and meditation.

Sydney's personal musical theatre idol is Kristin Chenoweth, who she relates to because they are both small and talk a lot. But she's not blonde. Well, not really anyway…Oh my goodness, there's a bird outside the window!!

Elise Auger
as Tenley Shaw

People say that she's soft spoken, and even shy. The only time she has really come out of her shell is when she is performing.

Tenley lives in Delta, Ontario, and has a few productions under her belt, mainly community theatre. She tends to be typecast as the funny sidekick because she's good at making people laugh.

What Tenley really wants is to be taken seriously as a performer and is hoping So You Think You can be a Musical Theatre Idol will be the way.

Robyn Pooley
as Max Manning

Max Manning grew up in a large family of five brothers in Onanole, Manitoba. As a child, Max was intensely into hockey and played competively until the age of fifteen. A violent body check left Max with a concussion, a broken collarbone, and no desire to play hockey ever again.

At this time, Max found another calling - ping pong. As the Canadian ping pong champion from the ages of 16- 19 Max was able to travel as far as Regina.

As fate would have it, a movie musical marathon was playing in the same hotel as the 2006 Ping Pong Championships. Viewing old movie musicals inspired Max to quit ping pong altogether and take up musical theatre. Since then Max has been taking ballet and voice lessons to improve the skills needed to succeed in this career and competition.

Max would like to give a shout out to the 'fam' - especially Mac 'the twin bro' for all their love and support.

Dexter Barcellano

So You Think You can be a Musical Theatre Idol is his way out.

Felicia Perron
as Katherine (Kat) O'Strophy

Kat has been singing and dancing her whole life. Originally from Toronto, as a child she showed great promise in her voice lessons and dance classes. When she was 12 she auditioned and was accepted on scholarship to New York’s School of the Performing Arts.

Her parents decided to support their daughter and move to New York so she could pursue a career in musical theatre.

After a summer where she was convinced she was cursed by a witch doctor, Kat is determined to prove herself and to her family that curses don't exist. Maybe this will finally be her lucky break!

Tyrell Witherspoon
as Taylor Jackson

Taylor is the All-Canadian Sports child. He's dating a cheerleader and is the captain and star point guard on his basketball team. Early in the season, he busted his kee and started taking dance to rehab his knee.

Once healed, instead of returning to basketball, he decided to pursue dance and got caught up in the world of musical theatre despite the unwilling support from his father.

He hopes winning this competition will show his father that there is more to this life than he thinks!

Stephanie Sy
as Alexis Lazo

Alexis was born and raised in California and won several acting, dancing, and singing awards in her home town. She began taking classes in all forms at the age of three, but started to get tired of them, so she began self-taught lessons at age six.

Her whole family then decided to move up to Winnipeg - when she was 13 - to find different opportunities. Alexis comes from a huge performing background, with her mother being a model and her father being in a local rock band.

Alexis also, in her spare time, is taking anger management to suppress her tiny tiny anxiety problems she tends to get sometimes from being such a perfectionist.
Alexis would like to TRULY wish all the contestants the best!

BREAK a leg everyone!

Kate Jestadt
as Fanny Farts (pronounced Fe-ar-ts)

Fanny is an inspiring musical theatre star. She has always been interested in theatre. She began acting at an early age. In high school, she began to take singing and dancing lessons and eventually began doing musicals with her high school.

For the past few years she has been auditioning for musicals around the country but hasn't had much luck. She is hoping that the show will be just the thing she needs to be launched into stardom. Her favorite musical is 'Chicago' and of course her musical theatre idol is Roxie Hart.

Aside from her love of theatre and live performance, Fanny loves the people she has met being in musical theatre. She has met so many BFF's in this competition and can't wait to spend more time with all of them.

Fanny wishes to give her best regards to her competitors.
Lots of hugs and kisses, XOXOXOXOX. Fanny.

Samantha Hill
as Sylvia Cutless

While growing up in Dominion City, Manitoba, Sylvia was always discouraged from performing. Believing singing and dancing to be the work of the devil, Sylvia's family suppressed her talents at quite a young age.

Luckily, at the tender age of 13, she managed to stowaway on the back of her "outcast" aunt's motorcycle and went to live with her in a remote hillside cabin, far from any other human life. It was there she discovered/perfected her extrordinary musical theatre/tortured soul.

After winning "Most Craved Singer" ten times in a row at Stony Mountain Penitentiary, Sylvia felt it was time to break out into the big times. She will win So You Think You Can Be a Musical Theatre Idol . No matter what. "I love you Auntie Rita".
