Canadian Musical Theatre Development Group Inc. is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2005 with the goal of developing and producing Canadian musical theatre. Being one of the only Canadian organizations focusing on this genre, CMTDG Inc. offers a home for the Canadian musical, bringing regional and multicultural perspectives to the stage.

By fostering opportunities for amateur and professional musicians, singers, actors, directors, choreographers and composers, the Winnipeg-based group is committed to cultivating and supporting Canadian talent.

In an atmosphere of respect, Canadian Musical Theatre Development Group encourages innovation, creativity and excellence in Canadian theatre.

CMTDG Inc. promotes Canadian works with the help of dedicated volunteers, continued community support, individual and corporate donations and government grants.
